today

so today was a very busy day...it started at 630 in the morning, waking up and getting starbucks before the IDS (interior design society) meeting in Cary at 830. the meeting was actually very interesting...especially since i'm thinking of starting my own design firm one day. there was a panel of 5 specialists running businesses and they were answering all sorts of questions from other designers. they explained how to maintain a business and keep it going with the market and economy the way it is...north carolina is predicted to be one of the first 10 states to bounce back the quickest from the situation. it's not like i'm planning on staying here anyways...i plan to move out of here lol. i wrote a lot of what each specialist said down in my portfolio lol...so i've got some good advice to use.
also, i had the photoshoot today...and it was really fun lol. it was kindof akward at first because i've never done anything like that before but the pictures turned out better then i thought...i hate taking pictures too, i never take pictures with my own camera its usually always a friends camera lol. i can't wait to see how they turn out though! maybe i'll post them up...who knows!
so sam's back and we caught up last night...he told me is crazy story about why he was in jail and how he got there and the entire process of coming home lol. it was pretty crazy and halarious...but we all know how sam is lol. we're supposed to go see julie tonight cause i dont think shes seen him since he's been back in town, and i told him i wanted to come because i love her to death and shes so sweet and welcoming. she cooks good too...her pastas the best. then my friend liza wants to go to a 1.50 movie so i might do that as well...and on top of that i have to finish a paper...ugh! but the good part about that assignment is that i get to design a room...eclectic style which is a bunch of different styles mixed or thrown in together...they just have to go with one another and match:) so i've got to get to work...
